Yay! Love spending time with Dino.
Oh damn, I wish I could try helping out on one of these English-learning discords. I was one of two native speakers of English in my grad program (seven years ago, cough), and honestly helping my classmates with the fiddly bits of grammar and putting together final papers was one of the things I really enjoyed. I don’t have the brain to teach, but from my experience a lot of people benefit from just having someone they can run a bunch of questions by in 10 or 15 minutes.
Kevin, your salad prep for the whole week sounds awesome, and I’m wondering how I could adapt that to stuff I can buy at work. (My version would doubtless include a hefty cheese component.)
I went into survival mode with food during the pandemic — fried egg sandwiches and stuff out of the work food court exclusively for several months (and honestly I think costco pizza is not bad, but it might be a while before I can look a pepperoni in the eye again.) Since things started easing up in Massachusetts earlier this year, I have been cooking out of an eastern Mediterranean cookbook to try to convince myself that vegetables are a thing I can eat again. I think I have roasted more garlic in the past three months than I have in my entire life.
