It’s that time again, when we read your letters on air! We also discuss our productivity for the week, and there is a discussion of why a particular YA book was so popular when Kevin was in High School. Enjoy, and thanks for listening!

I really loved Ursula’s discussion about various types of genre fiction. I love hearing/seeing experts be super competent in their field! (except if it’s my dentist doing my cleaning). I would listen to HOURS of Ursula talking about books.
I also like Lois McMaster Bujold’s classification of mysteries being described as fantasies of justice; and SF as fantasies of political agency ( great discussion be Jo Walton here https://www.tor.com/2008/10/06/bujoldspeech/)
I also read the description of “The Twisted Ones”; and even the blurb scared the pants off me! Blair Witch was the first and only horror movie I ever saw; and it freaked me out for years; so “The Twisted Ones” hooked right into some tender parts of the back brain – some things just have the cheat codes for your brain!
All the best for the applications and interviews.
Cheers
