This week we discuss our annual trip to Anthrocon, and what I did to help both of us keep organized, even if we didn’t use our planners that much. We’ll also read some listener comments that have come in in the past week.

Thank you so much for answering my letter! It does help. My mom’s fellow printmakers have been telling her to get someone to print cards (I’m talking about the fancy stationary kind not business cards) for her for years but she’s definitely got the I Must Do This Myself thing. She runs the whole business single handed and hates it but also won’t let anyone else take over any part. Unfortunately she’s got a strict No Apple policy now because of hating the current computer (which to be fair has lasted 7 years though it’s been having problems for a long time). My mom will spend money to get good plates and inks but feels like she can’t justify paying for things like computers and software. I wonder if this is an artist thing too. I’ll do my best to find something with lots of storage that can run Photoshop and focus on talking her into outsourcing the cards. One battle at a time.
Thanks for reading my comment. You got closer to pronouncing my name right than most people do (I tend to get Lie-dean) and Ursula got it perfect at the end (Lydia with an n). I’m SilvercatTyger on twitter and you responded to me designing my own planner, which was awesome. I still need to get into the habit of using it :/
