Episode 22 – Focus, Deb Kosiba

This week we discuss being able to focus on one thing, and one thing only, start to finish. Our Wombat Test Subject finally tries out Remember The Milk, and we get to hear what she thinks. Our interview this week is with one of our favorite people, Deb Kosiba from Seward Street Studios.

  1. Did you hang the deer before butchering it? If you don’t hang the deer for a few days the venison will be quite tough. I admit I’m not sure what people who don’t own a barn or know a person with a spare barn do about this issue. You can hang it outside from a tree if the weather cooperates and the neighbors won’t be upset. Are you making the ground meat into sausage? Venison sausage is my favorite.

    1. Depends on the deer. This was a yearling, and so we skipped hanging it. So far, it has been tender and not gamey at all.

      If she lands an older deer, we’ll have to figure something out, as we have predators and no place to really hang a carcass for a few days.
